MakeUseOf Top 40[Saturday, February 09, 2008]
MakeUseOf.com is a top site for reading about Web 2.0 apps and SaaS (Software as a service) type applications. WebMarkers fits into that sites categories pretty well.
Over at MakeUseOf.com, they've released a list titled "40 Unusual Websites you should Bookmark" and I'm proud to report that WebMarkers is in the list. WebMarkers made the top 40 most "unique and unusual" services (I assume that's a good thing).

Server update 12/3/2007[Tuesday, December 04, 2007]
I released an updated server version tonight (Dec 3, 2007).
The purpose of this update is to modify some logging to catch errors a little better. It is still a beta, right? There are still some minor bugs I'm working out, hopefully this helps diagnose them.

Busy weekend[Monday, December 03, 2007]
It was a busy weekend for me at WebMarkers. There has been phenomenal traffic since Friday. I did a little investigating and found that at least 2 prominent bloggers have written posts on their own sites about WebMarkers, encouraging readers to try it out. This is the word of mouth I was really hoping for. I think if I was charging a flat fee (say $20 per year) for a WebMarkers subscription, it would not be as interesting to some people.
